About GB Rover

Our Story & Commitment

Founded by passionate Land Rover enthusiasts, GB Rover exists to keep classic Land Rovers on the road for years to come. We don't just build–we restore, maintain, and upgrade these vehicles in a way that respects their character while improving reliability and drivability.
Every project is hands-on, detail driven, and built with pride. Whether it's a full restoration or ongoing maintenance, our goal is to preserve what makes these vehicles special while making them better to own and drive.

Kevin Stratton
Kevin grew up in Dallas surrounded by trucks and 4x4s, developing an early passion for hands-on craftsmanship and mechanical work. After college, he spent several years restoring antique furniture and building custom pieces, followed by time in a Corvette restoration shop—building a strong foundation in precision, detail, and finish work.
He later became a founding member of Xerbera, a Land Rover Defender restoration shop, where he spent nine years refining his expertise in full vehicle builds and restorations.
Kevin specializes in custom fabrication and finishing, including wood decking, gun drawers, and full body assembly. He plays a critical role in final quality control—overseeing every detail from paint to wiring to ensure each vehicle meets the highest standard before delivery.
His approach is simple: focus on the details, take pride in the work, and let the results speak for themselves.

Glenn Sutton
Glenn began his Land Rover career with a formal apprenticeship in the UK (1990–1993), earning City & Guilds certification, a National Crafts Certificate, and NVQ Level 3 qualifications. He has since completed over 25 factory training courses at Land Rover in Solihull, Birmingham.
With more than 36 years of hands-on experience, Glenn has achieved Master Technician status, trained apprentices, and held workshop control roles—bringing both technical expertise and leadership to every project.
In 2016, he joined E.C.D., where he helped build operations from the ground up—training technicians, overseeing quality control, and developing build procedures. In his final years there, Glenn traveled across the United States providing specialized warranty support, working directly with clients to maintain the highest standards.
Now co-leading the business alongside Kevin Stratton, Glenn continues to do what he’s built his career on—restoring, repairing, and maintaining classic Land Rovers. His work blends decades of British heritage with the expectations of modern performance and reliability.
